There are young designers able to translate dreams and vision with simplicity and sophistication. Discover “HUMO”, the first capsule collection by Dennj Malaguti.
DENNJ MALAGUTI is 29 years old. He is nice, gentle and with a special look in his face, halfway between a dreamy kid and a self-confident and man. Coming from San Matteo della Decima, a small village in the middle of the Emilia-Romagna countryside, Dennj have found his vocation for fashion design after long series of jobs in different fields, deciding to move to Milan to attend at Haute Future Fashion Academy
I met him there, where he was my student of History of Fashion. A curious student, almost anxious to know how much possible about ancient costumes, garment constructions and details. His final thesis was about the evolution of sleeves and I clearly can recognize the long research he made in his first collection.
I want to present HUMO from the Spanish word for smoke).

armours/dresses for gentle soldiers/women, like chrysalis’ cocoons; dresses in
which women can feel like butterflies. The result is a collection for every woman, to be lived and layered, because
HUMO forms a precious and unique wardrobe that can be assembled many times, made out of all-natural organzas and fibres like cotton, linen and silk. His dresses are to be stratified, reinvented daily – for fast-paced,
unconventional women.

like a rhino. Bizarre, yet noble shapes. Dennj fuses the extraordinary within
the everyday.
