On Friday 26th up to Monday 29th October at BASE Milano will start the 2018 edition of Fashion Graduate Italia, a 4-days special event to meet the best Italian fashion schools part of PSFM Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda.
There are only a few days before the beginning of the second edition of Fashion Graduate Italia, one of the most anticipated event organized by PSFM Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda in collaboration with the major fashion schools of Italian landscape and a great occasion to take a closer look to their educational programs and the creations of their young students.

In fact the event is open to the public, a brilliant way to approach to fashion system through the direct contact between schools and aspiring designers, looking the graduate collection of the best students in the various fashion shows of each school, but also to learn the basis of design, styling and fashion culture through workshops, talks and panels with the most important professionals of the sector.

This year the designers special guests will be Romeo Gigli, for a conversation between the famous designer and the fashion critic Antonio Mancinelli regarding the close dialogue between culture and design process, Marcelo Burlon, famous street style and sportswear designer who will speak about his brand through the projection of a documentary, and Marina Spadafora, who will speak about sustainability.

Very rich is also the proposal of talks and meetings with great experts of fashion communication particularly focused on new talents like Hilary Alexander, great international fashion journalist, Sara Sozzani Maino, Head of Vogue Talents, and Barbara Franchin, founder of ITS International Talent Support, one of the most important worldwide fashion competition.

To support and spotlight the talent of very young aspiring designers there’s also a special contest reserved to high school students, whose portfolio can be voted (here the link to vote) and will be awarded during the last day of the event.
