In this period of crisis caused by the spread of Covid-19 and by all its economic and social implications, it’s very important to support any initiative, like #cucireinsieme, a fashion competition for charity promoted by AIW – Association for the Integration of Women, Deshabillè Magazine and our Platform TFP TALENTS.
Together we are giving life to a fashion contest which wants to support the activity of AIW – Association for the Integration of Women, a no-profit association settled in Modena (Italy) dedicated to providing opportunities for migrant women giving them the occasion of acquiring new skills, building a community network and enter the job world.
As fashion Platform for young designers and emerging brand and in the context of the many initiatives we want to promote for helping the new talents of fashion design in this very hard period, together with our Partner Deshabillè Magazine we decided to support the new campaign”Cucire Insieme” launched by AIW.
The competition wants to involve fashion designers and artists in the design of facial masks. The winning project will be made for the Modena’s community by the migrant women who have sewing skills. The facial masks will be sold or will be accepted donations (food vouchers, essential goods) to AIW’s association and all proceeds from the masks will go to paying these women and growing the AIW’s training programs and new projects for supporting women in difficulties.
To partecipate to this fashion competition the designers should:
- send an email to info@deshabillemagazine.com for enroll the fashion competition and send the projects

Please note that these homemade masks are not medical devices and we must take all the necessary measures and precautions to prevent the possible spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) as WHO recommended.
So wash your hands and keep distance from other people to protect them and yourself and especially #STAYHOME.
The winning project will be announced the 17th April and all the IG stories of the partecipants will be shared in the social media channels of The Fashion Propellant, TFP TALENTS, Deshabillè Magazine and AIW.
