FASHION GRADUATE ITALIA is just finished and now it’s time to know all the most interesting news and informations about Italian fashion schools seen during this event.



Exhibition, talks, meetings and consulences with professionals, workshops to approach with the different aspects of fashion worlds. At FASHION GRADUATE ITALIA we have seen many initiatives organized to offer the maximun grade of visibility to young students, supporting their talent and giving them the opportunity to be under the spotlight of mass media, but also to connect people with the best fashion schools of Italy.
What we have seen during this 3-days event?
TALKS
A unique occasion to meet the most important professionals of fashion system, famous designers and young entrepreneurs of emerging brands, journalists and editors, investors and istitutions. We spoke with artisans who explained the great and even more urgent need of craftmanship to improve the quality of produts and give uniqueness to luxury brands, we heard the analysis of the present situation of fashion education marking the focal points of its essential evolution in a more competitive world. We heard useful tips by editors and journalists of independent or most renowned magazine (like Danda Santini from Elle or Emanuele Farneti from Vogue Italia) about the modern way to communicate fashion messages through the web or paper magazines. And above all we heard tips, opinion and personal vision of emerging designers (like Zeynep Guntas, Miao Ran and Armando Costa) and the great guest Fausto Puglisi.

WORKSHOPS

For who has ever wanted to be a fashion designer or a stylist, loves shoes or wants a feedback about his/her abilities, there were three workshops: STYLING FOR BEGINNERS in collaboration with Ferrari Fashion School, that analized the professional role of Fashion Stylist and his strong creativity and skills to realize photo shootings and communicate the beauty of fashion products; SHOE SKETCHING by Arsutoria School explained the sketching technique of shoes on wood models, giving life to the inspirations of the trend mood board; PORTFOLIO REVIEW with Mariasole Pastori, Talent Manager Eyes on Talents, and Sara Sozzani Maino, Deputy Editor in Chief Vogue Italia, Head of Vogue Talents, was a fantastic occasion for selected students to present their collection portfolios and receive tips and feedbacks about their style and future perspectives.

JOB SPEED DATE

This was one of the most exciting moment for young students selected by SMI (Sistema Moda Italia) and PSFM (Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda). 2 hours to make themself known, meeting many important fashion brands like Giorgio Armani, Benetton Group, Dolce & Gabbana, Loro Piana, Herno, Kering Group and many others.

 FASHION SCHOOL EXIBITION

Protagonists of the event were the fashion schools parts of PSFM (Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda). Each school presented its courses to aspiring fashion designers and journalists coming from all the world, with visual displays (thanks to the partnership with Bonaveri) of the clothing and accessories collections made by its graduate students.
