Siamo fatti di elettricità e atomi, siamo la risultanza di uno scontro energetico. Quello che siamo in realtà forse non lo scopriremo mai, ma è bello lasciare un po’ di mistero alle nostre vite e alla nostra essenza.

Tutti gli elementi della tavola periodica sono nati dalla fusione e dalla creazione di stelle.
Noi siamo il risultato incomprensibile di un’aggregazione di molecole e particelle, le stesse che si trovano nell’universo.
L’arte, la moda e la fotografia subiscono il fascino dell’infinito spazio e delle miliardi di luci che lo popolano. Attraverso la tecnica del collage un po’ vintage-effect, il cosmo diventa sfondo e parte di una storia d’amore nell’opera “Kundalini” dell’artista Eugenia Loli (disponibile qui).

La giapponese Yayoi Kusama, da sempre maestra della rappresentazione di un iconico e irriverente mondo a pois, è affascinata dalle stelle in quanto punti luminosi. Nella sua intallazione “Infinity Mirror Rooms” la rifrazione della luce viene ampliata attraverso una continuità di specchi, che danno la sensazione allo spettatore di entrare nello spazio infinito e non in quello finito di una semplice stanza.

Una certa tendenza moda racconta di un’estetica delicatissima di energie invisibili, catturate e imprigionate dalla tecnologia in abiti che emanano luce propria o, per mezzo di tecniche più tradizionali di ricamo e di finitura del tessuto, di luce riflessa in mille bagliori. Se non l’abito in sé, allora è lo shooting fotografico che poeticamente ricrea un’atmosfera caleidoscopico come un planetario.

farci dimenticare per un attimo la forza che ci lega al materialismo

AGGIORNAMENTO 2019
Superfici di cristalli, i colori della Galassia, la luce che si rifrange su metalliche paillettes. Il Cosmo continua ad affascinare i nostri giovani talenti della moda e regala ancora una volta sognanti emozioni. Ecco allora la donna galattica disegnata da Bartolotta & Martorana vista nella sfilata di Febbraio, oppure le stelle imprigionate nel PVC dalla giovane studente Leila Azhdarpoor dell’Istituto di Moda Burgo e le reti di scintillanti cristalli pensate da Salvatore Pecora della Harim Accademia Euromediterranea che non ho potuto fare a meno di ammirare all’ultima edizione del Fashion Graduate Italia.

ENGLISH VERSION
We are made of electricity and atoms, we are the result of an energetic clash. Perhaps what we are in reality we will never find out, but is nice to leave a bit of mistery about our lifes and our essence.
All the elements of the periodic table were born by the fusion and creation of stars. We are the incomprehensible result of an aggregation of molecules and particles, the same that are in the Universe.
Art, fashion and photography are fascinated by infinite space and billions of lights that populate it.
Through the technique of vintage-effect collage, the cosmos become background and part of a love story in the opera “Kundalini” of the artist Eugenia Loli (available here).
The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, always master of the representation of an iconic and irreverent polka dot world, is fascinated by the stars as points of light. In her intallation “Infinity Mirror Rooms“, light refraction is expanded through a continuity of mirrors, which give to the viewer the sensation of entering into infinite space and not in the finite space of a simple room.
Some fashion trend tells about a delicate aesthetics of invisible energies, captured and imprisoned by technology in clothes that emanate their own light or, using more traditional techniques of embroidery and finishing of the fabric, of reflected light in a thousand glows. If not the dress itself, then is the photo shooting that poetically recreates a kaleidoscopic atmosphere as a planetarium.
The human figure in all its complexity and in its details can express this molecular affinity with the cosmos. On the web I found several photos conceived to give strength to dream and let us forget for a moment the force that binds us to the materialism of our body.

Here then the galactic woman by Bartolotta & Martorana seen in their catwalk on Febraury, or the stars imprisoned into PVC by Leila Azhdarpoor, young students of Istituto di Moda Burgo and the shining crystal nets designed by Salvatore Pecora of Harim Accademia Euromediterranea, that I admired in the last edition of Fashion Graduate Italia.
